This is my first ever voyage into Glee and the Puck/Rachel relationship. This really is nothing. Just a drabble of sorts; a way for me to begin attempting at writing these characters, Puck especially. This is probably complete crap but I just wanted to try. It's more of a Puck drabble than a Puck/Rachel but I was nervous writing Puck and I wanted to practice. I would love to write more for this couple when I feel more comfortable at it.

I know not that many people on my flist have even heard of this show but Sons of Anarchy has quickly become one of my favorite shows and I wanted to try something out. There really is no point to this story. It was just a chance for me to explore the budding relationship between Opie and Lyla on the show. Should I be worried if I was able to really tap into the mind of a porn star like I was able to with Lyla? What does that say about me?

- no work for me today. I took today and tomorrow off and this morning, I am off to the Chicago Field Museum. I may be a nerd but I really do not care. I love museums!

- I am so flattered with everyone who said that they liked the idea for my new family story. I am already working on the first chapter and I am so excited. I hope my muse stays on board the Mark/Lexie train.

- Speaking of my muse, the new Greys Anatomy is on tonight. I am not excited for it whatsoever. On the other hand, I also have a new episode of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia toinght. Now that is something to be excited about!

- I read somewhere that they are remaking Rebecca, one of my favorite movies of all time. And with that, I die. Why, WHY, does Hollywood have to remake every single movie? Especially classics that should remain untouched? Is creativity really dead?

- my cousin is getting married this weekend so I have my mom, dad and brother all coming into town tomorrow night. I have not seen my mom in a couple of months and I am very excited to see her. My mom and I are extremely close.

Thank you so much to adamsfan  for letting me know about the promo pictures for episode 6x03 which looks like it is going to be an amazing episode! I already cannot wait! *UPDATE* I am a loser for those who were doubting that. In my family stories if you follow that series, Mark and Lexie are married and honestly, looking at these pictures, from the actual show, it took me about a whole ten seconds for me to remember why neither of them are wearing wedding rings. Um, yeah... *hangs head in shame*

So, this has been kind of a crazy summer. The only way I knew I would be able to survive the hiatus with Grey's Anatomy from May until now would be to write Mark and Lexie stories and I seem to have definitely succeeded at that considering I uploaded a new story almost every single day for the past three months. Now though... I don't know. Maybe I should take the next week before the premiere and just relax. Read some books. Watch some other television shows. I feel like I am about to burn myself out. I cannot think of anything to write at the moment and believe me. I have been trying. THANK YOU so much to those few who loyally commented on everything I wrote this summer. You know who you are and it was for you that I continued to push myself and try different things out with my writing this summer - things I definitely want to try more of, like crossover fics.

Everyone is getting busier now. School is back in session for some, work is getting crazy for others, the premiere is coming up and some don't want to read fiction anymore that isn't canon with the show, and I just feel that interest is waning. So I think this will definitely be the best move. Just step back from everything for a week, get ready for the premiere and think of some new stories/plots to write. Also, I know I say  this all of the time, but I am going to be cleaning my flist out. I know now who reads my stories and who I have had conversations with and who have made the effort to get to know me so now I know who I can cut. To everyone who I have met through LJ and have become my friend - and again, you know who are you! - I honestly cannot say thank you enough. It was a pleasure surviving the summer with you. *hugs to all*

Damn it. I knew there was something else coming out today. Not only is Greys Anatomy, season 5, coming out on DVD today but so is one of my other favorite shows, The Big Bang Theory, season 2, and I will probably be too weak to refrain myself from buying that as well. There are clearly forces here who are completely against me keeping my money.

I just wanted to post these new promo stills from 6x01 of Greys Anatomy. There are tons more of Chyler Leigh but I LOVE the one below. She is so beautiful. And then in the one of the hospital staff, Mark and Lexie are standing next to each other. I cannot wait for Sept. 24th!

Last year, I wrote a Cedric/Hermione story called Strange and Beautiful and posted it on FF.net. I received an email from Seph Meadowes about a week ago who has read my story and asked to make a trailer for it. Today, she finished it and put it up on YouTube. This trailer is so amazing and I am so honored that she took the time to make this for me. Thank you so much, Seph! I absolutely love it and cannot stop watching it! This is making me inspired to write more Cedric/Hermione stories.

So, I spent about two hours this morning cleaning up my user pics, making sure I gave credit where credit is due and adding quotes to each one just because I wanted to. I didn't change their names because I know that would, in LJ's eyes, make it a different icon. Well, after I did all of that, I realized that a lot of my entries reverted back to my "Default" icon. And it isn't as if I hate my default icon (if I did, I wouldn't have it as my main one). I just put a lot of care in choosing the perfect icon for the chapter or story I post - which I know sounds incredibly anal of me but I think it's fun - and now, I have all of these posts with the wrong icon. Grrrrr. Kind of pissed off right now. Remind me to never change anything ever again on LJ.

Written for my friend, Erin, who wanted the words Coca-Cola, John Wayne and snooze button found somewhere in the story. This makes no sense - just a bunch of vignettes strung together - and was written in ten minutes but this is what I wrote so Erin, I hope you like it.

A request fulfilled for muzakys  and these two short vignettes do not take place in the AU world I created but rather can fall more in canon with the show. Kind of fluffy, kind of corny but they make me all sorts of happy. Also, from now on, every entry on this journal is going to be private and locked so if you are not my friend, you cannot read. I have cleaned up my flist, keeping those who I talk to frequently or who take the time to read my stories and give me feedback and since this journal is mostly for my stories, and I am extremely protective of them, I only want people on my flist reading them.

I have another request from ww_sb_xf for a story and hopefully, I can start that tonight to have it posted tomorrow. I also really want to start my Sloan/Shepherd family vacation story.
